Cost of Living Adjustment.  An annual adjustment of wages to offset a change (usually a loss) in the purchasing power of the fiat U.S. dollar, as measured by the U.S. Federal Government Bureau of Labor Statistic's fraudulent Consumer Price Index (CPI).

COLI --
Cost of Living Index.  Includes CPI, TIGF, and constantly increasing taxes, costs of regulations and prohibitions, etc.

COLIC --
Cost of Living Increases, Compounded.  Cost of Living Index, Compounded.  See CPI.

COMEX --
A division of the New York Mercantile Exchange, a commodity futures exchange.  Trades gold, silver, copper, and the Eurotop 100 stock index.  (See also NYMEX.)

COT --
Commitment of Traders (Futures traders).

CPI --
Consumer Price Index, aka Corrupted Price Index.  A U.S. Bureau of Labor statistical exercise whose purpose is to convince the sheeple that prices and the Cost of Living aren't really rising as fast as they actually are.  The indicator measures the change in the cost of a basket of products and services, including housing, electricity, food, and transportation, but does not include taxes, license fees, and the costs of regulation.  Also, items that increase too much in cost are replaced by cheaper items to keep the index increase minimized.

The manipulation of the CPI statistics is useful to other branches of government such as the Social Security Administration so it doesn't have to increase SS "benefits" to the extent that a true Cost of Living Index - COLI would indicate necessary.  It is also useful to keep wage increase demands down, as wage increases are often related to the CPI.  And, it also convinces sheeple investors that taxes on any so-called "capital gains" are really just taxes on gains and not actually confiscation of capital.

EURO --
The composite monetary unit consisting of a basket of European Community currencies, introduced on 1999 January 1.  Also called European Currency Unit (ECU).

Fundamental Analysis.

FATF --
Financial Action Task Force.  A group linked to the OECD devoted to fighting "money laundering" and other "financial crimes".  That is, a group devoted to tracking and punishing YOU for using, moving or disposing of your own property (money) as you see fit.

FED --
U.S. Federal Reserve System.  The U.S. central bank.  A private corporation controlling and profiting from the U.S. government monetary system.

FFT --
Five Flags Theory.  Originally, this was the "Three Flag Theory", formulated and expounded by Sir Harry D. Schultz, noted political-economic commentator, investment adviser, and editor of the International Harry Schultz Letter (HSL).  It has since been expanded in its definition to encompass five, and sometimes six, flags.  This is also called the "PT philosophy".

Persons utilizing this philosophy are called "PT"s, PT being a catchall acronym for various descriptions of these persons, such as "Prior Taxpayer", "Perpetual Tourist", "Parked Temporarily", "Possibility Thinker", etc.  What all PTs have in common is a desire to maximize their freedom, privacy, and wealth, and to minimize the extortions and controls of various governments.

The original "Three Flags Theory" means that the PT wraps himself in three different flags -- patronizing at least three different countries other than the country of his citizenship for different purposes:
   Second passport
   Asset Management (safe haven for assets)
   Domicle ("Legal address" in a tax haven)

For the "Five Flags", two more are added:
   Business Base
   Playground

Sometimes "Six Flags" are referred to; the sixth is not properly a flag or country, but is defined as establishing a consistent purpose in life.

Fiat --
Decree.  "Fiat" means "by decree".
Fiat "money" is made legal tender by decree.  The decree is necessary because it has no value other than that enforced by the issuer of the decree.  As contrasted with real money (commodity money such as gold, silver, wheat... ).
BTW, the "dollar" and the "pound" ONCE were actual measures of gold and silver.
Since there is no intrinsic value to fiat money, governments can easily "inflate" the supply of it by simply printing more and more of it and authorizing the equally corrupt banking system to create more of it out of nothing by continually expanding credit.
Cutting money loose from reality (by fiat) has allowed modern governments unprecedented ability to manipulate and control their publics.

Federal Open Market Committee.

FOS --
Full Of Shit.

FRB --
1) Federal Reserve Bank.  One of the twelve regional banks of the Federal Reserve System.  maintains reserves, issues bank notes, and lends money to member banks.
2) Federal Reserve Board.  The seven-member Federal Reserve System Board of Governors that oversees Federal Reserve Banks, establishes monetary policy (interest rates, credit, etc.), and monitors the economic status of the country.

Federal Reserve Note.  So-called "dollar" currency bills in various denominations.  (But there is no reserve, and they are not notes.)  Could be defined as "Frauds, Really Nothing" or "Fiats, Really Nothing".

FTSE --
An index calculation company that calculates various financial indexes.  The London Stock Exchange and the Financial Times are two major co-owners, whence the name.  (BTW, citing just "FTSE" by itself is meaningless; the specific index of interest must also be specified.)

Greenwich Mean Time.  Time in the Greenwich, England, time zone.  London is in the same time zone.  GMT adjusts for "daylight savings time".  UDT is the same zone, but NOT adjusted.
